Easing Back Pain,Gently

Nearly everyone experiences back pain.It occurs mostly between the age of 30 and 50.Exercise is the most effective way to speed recovery from low back pain.Building muscle strength is important if you want to ward it off.A routine of back healthy activities may include stretching exercises,swimming,walking and movement therapy to improve muscular coordination,posture and muscle balance.

The Sapt Chakra Kriya is another way to gently stretch muscles and ease pain.It is the best solution to maintain elasticity in the spinal column.Any mild discomfort felt at the start of these exercises should disappear as muscles become stronger gradually.Next in the series of Sapt Chakra Kriya,is Agya Chakra Asan.It has the same benefit as the earlier proceeding asanas though it is performed a little differently.

Agya Chakra Asan:

1 Lie flat on the ground joining both feet and knees.

2 Lift both the feet off the ground and bend the knees so that they touch the chest.

3 Bend the knees towards the left by twisting the wasit and turn the head to the right.

4 The hands should be placed above the shoulders.

5 Repeat this asana on the right side of the body with the head turned in the opposite direction for five minutes.

Duration:

1 Practice it for two minutes.

2 This exercise is to be repeated on both the left and right sides for a few minutes.

Benefits:

1 This will remove stomach problems and diseases of chest,spinal column and is also effective for neck and waist ailments.

2 This exercise helps activate the Agya Chakra and removes diseases of spinal cord.

Precautions:

1 Move into the positions slowly and gracefully wihout hurrying.

2 People suffering from lumber spondylitis and muscle pulls should practice it after proper consultation.
